libsoqt4-dev software package provides Qt4 GUI component toolkit for Inventor - development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsoqt4-dev
libsoqt4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsoqt4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsoqt4-dev *
You will get with libsoqt4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
